**Researcher at CNRS**. **Co-director of MITATE Lab.**, a transdisciplinary International Research Project of CNRS on Fukushima's disasters issues. Cécile Asanuma-Brice has a double degree. After obtaining a postgraduate degree in urban planning at the University of Nanterre, she completed a PhD at the Ecole des Hautes Etudes en Sciences Sociales (School of Advanced Studies in Social Sciences). Dr Cecile Asanuma-Brice, permanent resident in Japan since 2000, is also Associate researcher at CRJ, Centre de Recherche Japon at EHESS (Paris) and French Research Institute on Japan (MEAE-CNRS), based in Tôkyô. She’s working on Japanese Housing policy and on Fukushima's disaster issues.
**Author of several books**: *Fukushima, 10 ans après. Sociologie d'un désastre*, ed° Maison des Sciences de l'Homme, 2021, 220 p. ; Un siècle de banlieue japonaise. Au paroxysme de la société de consommation*, Métispresses, 426p.
