Présentation
**Arnaud Badel** (37), is a CNRS researcher at G2Elab since 2012. He obtained his PhD in 2010 at INPG, Grenoble, then worked from 2010 to 2012 at Université de Genève as a Post-doc. Since entering CNRS, he worked on the development of applications using new generation High Temperature Superconductors (FCL, SMES, high field coils), with a focus on the characterization and modeling of these materials to optimize their use. From 2018 to 2021 he took a temporary leave from CNRS to become Associate Professor at Tohoku University (Japan) in the High Field lab for Superconducting Materials, focusing on the development of 30+ T all-superconducting magnets. He is co-author of over 50 papers published in international journals and co-supervised 7 PhDs. He was secretary general of the EUCAS 2015 conference local committee, and participate in the program committee for the other two major conferences in the field, Magnet Technology and ASC. He also regularly serves as technical editor for special editions of the journal IEEE Transactions on Applied Superconductivity. He is a founding member of the International School on Modeling for Applied Superconductivity, whose 3rd edition took place in June 2022
