**I develop research projects around photoinduced phase transitions and the photo-control of materials on ultra-short time-scales. In the lab, we are performing structural studies (x-ray diffraction and photo-crystallography) and we combine femtosecond optical experiments to ultrafast x-ray studies performed on synchrotron and X-FEL.**
