Présentation

I hold a PhD in Material Design from INSA Lyon. I am an Assistant Professor at MATEIS, associated with INSA Lyon, CNRS, and the University Claude Bernard in Lyon. My primary research is focused on advanced material design for low CO2 emissions and superinsulation. I co-founded MATeB, a joint Industry/University laboratory to develop innovative Energy Solutions for building and transport applications with B. Yrieix (EDF R&D). Additionally, I have participated in various international, bilateral, and regional research projects related to material design for energy efficiency or waste and co-product valorization in material. I am also an expert evaluator for the National and International Research Fund and the REA. I have coordinated numerous research projects at various TRL levels and have co-authored over 40 international journal and conference proceedings publications. In addition to my research, I also lecture on material design, geotechnics, and building design at the University Claude Bernard Lyon 1. I have collaborated with industry leaders such as RHODIA, SOLVAY, ROQUETTE, BASF, LAFARGE, VICAT, SAINT-GOBAIN, CACOH-CNR, Alliance Economy, and Plattard to develop sustainable climate solutions and create job opportunities for students in biosourced industries. My previous experience includes an R&D position in a precast environmental industry. I led teams focused on scaling up self-levelling concrete and redesigning production processes to reduce noise, CO2 emissions, and material consumption. I possess a solid ability to lead teams in challenging conditions. I am known for my curiosity and creative networking skills, which I utilize to foster innovation and attract talented scientists.
