Research activities are conducted on sweet cherry trees:
**1**- Analyses of genes and QTL of traits involved in the plant adaptation to climate changes (chilling requirement, blooming date, fruit cracking susceptibility)
**2**- Implementation of a marker-assisted breeding program for the above traits
**Coordination and management**
- Chair of the COST Action FA1104 (2012-2016): ‘Sustainable production of high-quality cherries for the European market’ (https://www.bordeaux.inra.fr/cherry/)
· Management of BSc and MSc students (average of 4 students per year)
**Expertise**
Reviewer for peer review journals Tree Genetics & Genomes, Euphytica, Journal of the American Society of Horticulture, Hortscience, Plant Breeding
