**Current position**
Researcher (IR1) INRAE-Bordeaux, UMR 1332 Biologie du Fruit et Pathologie (BFP), Team A3C (‘Adaptation of sweet Cherry to Climate Change’)
Leader of the French sweet cherry (*Prunus avium*) breeding programme
**Research interests and expertise**
Research activities are conducted on sweet cherry trees:
**1**- Analyses of genes and QTL of traits involved in the plant adaptation to climate changes (chilling requirement, blooming date, fruit cracking susceptibility)
**2**- Implementation of a marker-assisted breeding program for the above traits
**Coordination and management**
- Chair of the COST Action FA1104 (2012-2016): ‘Sustainable production of high-quality cherries for the European market’ (https://www.bordeaux.inra.fr/cherry/)
· Management of BSc and MSc students (average of 4 students per year)
