Joseph Fabre
Joseph Fabre est né à Carcassonne, en France, en 1985. En 2009, il obtient un diplôme d’ingénieur en génie électrique de l’école INP-ENSEEIHT (Ecole Nationale Supérieure d’Electronique, d’Electrotechnique, d’Informatique, d’Hydraulique et de Télécommunications), à Toulouse, en France. Et obtient en 2013 un doctorat de l’Institut National Polytechnique de Toulouse, France. Sa thèse se déroulant au sein de l’entreprise ALSTOM Transport, équipe « Power Electronics Technology », département d'ingénierie système de Traction, à Tarbes, en France.
De 2014 à 2016, il a été chercheur post-doctorant impliqué dans des projets d'électronique de puissance pour les applications ferroviaires dans le groupe de recherche sur les convertisseurs statiques du LAPLACE (Laboratoire sur le plasma et la conversion d'énergie), Toulouse. De 2017 à Octobre 2021, il rejoint un projet de recherche financé par la Société Nationale des Chemins de Fer Français (SNCF). Aujourd'hui, il est Ingénieur R&D de la société SCLE-SFE à Toulouse, France, travaillant dans la recherche et l'industrialisation de convertisseurs électroniques de puissance pour les systèmes d'électrification ferroviaire.

**Joseph Fabre** was born in 1985 at Carcassonne, France. In 2009, he received the B.S. degree in electrical engineering from the Institute of Engineering *ENSEEIHT*, Toulouse, France. In 2013, he fulfilled his Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering from the *Institut National Polytechnique de Toulouse* (INPT), in conjunction with the *Traction System Engineering Department* from *ALSTOM Transport Company* at Tarbes, France.
From 2014 to 2016, he was a Postdoctoral Researcher involved in power electronics projects for railway applications in the *Static Converters Research Group* at *LAPLACE (Laboratory on Plasma and Conversion of Energy)*, Toulouse. From 2017 to October 2021, he joined a research project funded by the *French National Railway Company* (SNCF). Now, he is an R&D Engineer from the *SCLE-SFE* company at Toulouse, France, working in the research and industrialization of power electronics converters for railways electrification systems.
