Présentation

Lucien BALDAS has been an Associate Professor at the Institut National des Sciences Appliquées de Toulouse since 1997, and Professor and Associate Head of the Mechanical Engineering Department since 2020. He received his doctorate from the Institut National Polytechnique de Toulouse, specialising in fluid mechanics, in 1993 and his Habilitation to Supervise Research in 2011. His current research focuses on compressible flows in pneumatic systems and microsystems, with a particular interest in applications in the field of flow control and rarefied microflows. He is also developing research activities in the field of particle laden microflows. He was assistant coordinator of the Marie-Curie GASMEMS European project from 2007 to 2011 and coordinated the "Training & Events" workpackage of the ITN "MIGRATE" European project (2015-19). He has also been in charge of the Microfluidics team at the Institut Clément Ader since 2017.
