Présentation

I'm a PhD in Information Science and Communication Studies, currently working as temporary teaching and research fellow in Library & Information Science Department at the Paul-Valéry University of Montpellier 3, France. My researches and main interests include information practices and knowledge organization in health. In my research, I use and combine different qualitative and quantitative methods such as: observation, interview, simulation, survey, automatic terminology extraction, and content, linguistic, lexicometric, comparative and facet analysis. I have been analyzing, teaching, and developing knowledge organization and information systems in the fields of librarianship and medicine. I have also been studying information practices of healthcare professionals, researchers in science and technology, edible insect market entrepreneurs, allergic patients, and online health forum users. In 2015, I obtained two master degrees in French and Comparative Literature (Paul-Valéry University of Montpellier 3, France) and in Romance philology (University of Opole, Poland). During my bachelor and master studies in Information Science (2016-2018), that followed the previously mentioned humanistic studies, I worked as librarian at academic libraries in France and in Italy. I participated on the conception of a [documentary catalogue](http://eprints.rclis.org/33538/) for a learning center, a [Dewey Decimal Classification-based library browsing tool](http://eprints.rclis.org/33503/) for an academic libraries network, and a [classification scheme](http://eprints.rclis.org/34009/) based on the Universal Decimal Classification for a documentation center specialized in history of education. I also worked on medcial information and communication as a researcher in the Allergy Unit of the University Hospital of Montpellier (2018-2019). After that, as as doctoral student (Paul-Valéry University of Montpellier 3), I realized ALLERGIDOC, [my PhD project](http://www.theses.fr/s225514) (2019-2023), conducted through a partnership with the Allergy Unit of the University Hospital of Montpellier. The project aimed to develop a knowledge organisation system in allergology to support work activities of professionals in this domain. After my PhD (April-August 2023), I worked on [CDP PUNAISES](https://sfr-sign.univ-grenoble-alpes.fr/cdp-punaises) project (Grenoble Alpes University), which aimed to study information practices, terminology and mediatization on edible insects. Since 2018, I have also been working on the [Integrative Levels Classification](http://www.iskoi.org/ilc/) (ILC), a freely faceted interdisciplinary classification developped by an international team of researchers. Since 2020, I have also been teaching bachelor and master students in Information Science at the Paul-Valéry University of Montpellier 3. This activity have been including lectures and tutorials on "Knowledge organization systems", "Information-seeking in health", "Document and digital library management systems", "Document processing", "Bibliographic Transition", "Content publication and dissemination", "SEO strategies and techniques" and "Information management". I was awarded for [the Best Paper Award at ISKO Conference in Porto](https://www.isko.org/award) (2018), and for [the Junior Member Grant at the World Allergy Congress in Lyon](https://www.wac2019-allergy.com/Junior-Member-Grant) (2019), and my PhD project was selected to be funded by the Occitanie Region (2019). I'm an active member of the International Society for Knowledge Organization ([ISKO](https://www.isko.org/)), of the French Association of Information and Documentation Professionals ([ADBS](https://www.facebook.com/adbsOccitanie/)), of the World Allergy Organization (WAO) [Junior Members Group](https://www.worldallergy.org/juniormembers/), and of French Society of Information & Communication Sciences (SFSIC). I'm also an [associate member](https://idesp.umontpellier.fr/membres/) of [Desbrest Institute of Epidemiology and Public Health](https://idesp.umontpellier.fr/) (Montpellier, France).
