Nacim Ramdani
Présentation
Nacim Ramdani is Full Professor of Control Systems Engineering with the Université of Orléans and IUT de Bourges, since September 2010. He is affiliated with PRISME research unit Univ. Orléans - INSA CVL and the joint Graduate School MIPTIS of the Université of Orléans, INSA CVL, and the Université François Rabelais of Tours, France. He is the Managing Director of PRISME Research Unit Univ. Orléans - INSA CVL, since Jan. 2024. The Pluridisiciplinary Research unit on Systems, Mechanics and Energy Engineering gathers 200+ staff including 90 academics (25 Full Professors + 65 Assistant/Associate Professors). He is the coordinator of the European project Horizon Europe MSCA DN SPRING 2026-2030 n°101227080 "Doctoral Network for reSilience exPeRts IN future larGe-scale critical infrastructures" . Website - CORDIS He has been the Head of the "Robotics and ICT" (IRAUS) department of PRISME research unit, from Jan. 2018 to Dec. 2023. His current research interests revolve around correct-by-construction synthesis of resilient cyber-physical, autonomous and hybrid systems in presence of uncertainty, faults or cyber-physical anomalies. He works mainly on interval observers, set-membership state estimation, planning, and event- and self-triggered control, for application domains that include IoT, logistics for healthcare, autonomous robotics, and smart grids.
