**Personal Information**
I was born and raised in [Normandy](http://www.normandy-tourism.org/) in the Northwest of France. I studied in Rouen University and Le Havre University. Now I live in Strasbourg in the East of France ([Alsace](http://www.tourisme-alsace.com/)).
In July 2002 I received my Ph. D. in Mechanical Engineering from Le Havre University under the guidance of Serge Huberson in [Laboratoire de Mecanique](http://www.univ-lehavre.fr/recherche/lmh/). Prior to my doctoral work, I received a MS in Mechanical Engineering from Rouen University.
**Curriculum vitae** ([html](http://www-irma.u-strasbg.fr/~navaro/Labo/Pierre/cv.html),[pdf](http://www-irma.u-strasbg.fr/~navaro/Labo/Pierre/cv_navaro.pdf)).
