Présentation
My research interests concern the behavior and fate of chemicals (oxygen, nutrients, pollutants, trace elements and radionuclides) in the aquatic environment from continental waters to open ocean. I’m particularly interested on biogeochemical reactions and transfers occurring in the sediment-water interface, especially in relation with desoxygenation events. I also have interest in the evaluation of the bioavailability, bioaccumulation and impact of trace elements for benthic organisms.
I’m using approaches combining instrumental analytical chemistry, in situ methodologies, laboratory experimentations, transport-reaction modeling, thermodynamic calculations, passive sampling and radioactive tracers.
