### Research:
Evolutionary biology and invasion biology
My research focuses on evolutionary biology applied to agricultural environment. Invasion biology is a specific object of ecology in which evolutionary biology can provide new understandings
Although biological invasions represent a major threat to biodiversity, human health and agriculture, the critical demographic and genetic parameters responsible for their success are poorly known because of methodological and experimental limitations. The goal of this project is to estimate these parameters in different biological invasion contexts (including intentional invasions like biological control).
Our research focus on the developement of new methods to estimate the demographic, genetic and historical parameters of bioinvasions and to describe invasion routes, and the application of these methods to ongoing and documented invasions of socio-economically important species (*Diabrotica virgifera virgifera* and *Harmonia axyridis*).
