Présentation
Allison Marie Loconto est titulaire d'un habilitation à diriger les recherches de l'Université de Toulouse, un doctorat en sociologie du Michigan State University et un Masters en Relations internationales et économie politique de American University in Washington, DC. Elle est directrice de recherche à l’institut national de recherche pour l’agriculture, l’alimentation et l’environnement (INRAE) et Directrice adjointe du Laboratoire interdisciplinaire sciences innovations et sociétés (LISIS). Elle est habilitée à diriger des thèses dans l’École doctorale du Département des sciences pour l’agriculture, l’alimentation et l’agroenvironnement (DiSAAA) à l’Université de Pise (Italie) et à l'École doctorale Organisations, Institutions et Marchés à Paris-Est Sup. Dr. Loconto est Vice-Présidente pour la Recherche à l’Association internationale de sociologie (ISA) et le représentant de l’INRAE dans le Comité consultatif multipartite (MAC) du Programme pour les systèmes alimentaires durables du One Planet Network (ONU Environnement). Nommée au Comité nationale de l'agriculture biologique (CNAB) elle est également Vice-Présidente du réseaux des chercheurs FairNESS et ancienne membre élue au Comité d'administration de Commerce équitable France (CEF). Dr. Loconto est actuellement membre du Conseil Scientifique de UniLaSalle et Comité d'orientation stratégique de la Chaire UNESCO Alimentations du monde à l’Institut agro Montpellier. Ancienne boursière Fulbright (2009-2010) et boursière Marie-Curie de l'UE (2018), elle a également été une chercheuse invitée en sciences, technologies et sociétés à la John F. Kennedy School of Government de l'Université de Harvard (2018) et scientifique invitée à l'Organisation des Nations unies pour l'alimentation et l'agriculture (2013-2017). Son programme de recherche se concentre sur la gouvernance des transitions vers des systèmes alimentaires durables, en particulier sur les mesures, modèles, normes et systèmes de certification qui font partie des innovations institutionnelles émergentes. Son analyse se concentre sur la manière dont la responsabilité de la durabilité dans la consommation et la production est assumée et partagée par les différents acteurs des systèmes alimentaires à différentes échelles. Elle a mené des travaux de terrain sur les 5 continents mais concentre la plupart de ses recherches sur les systèmes alimentaires en Afrique et en Amérique latine. Elle fait partie du comité de rédaction de Agriculture and Human Values, elle est Assistant Editor du Journal of Rural Studies et de la revue Science as Culture, et est la rédactrice en chef du International Journal of Sociology of Agriculture and Food.
