Presentation
Je suis professeur de philosophie à l'Université de Toulouse-2 Jean-Jaurès, et membre associé de l'IHPST (Paris), fMOD (Dépt. de philosophie, U. de Turin) et CFCUL (U. de Lisbonne). Mon domaine de spécialisation est l'histoire et la philosophie des sciences de la vie (particulièrement la biologie et la médecine) aux 17e-18e siècles, autour des notions de matérialisme et de vitalisme, et accessoirement le mécanisme ; je travaille aussi sur des thèmes dans la philosophie de la biologie européenne du 20e siècle tel que la notion d'organisme, et sur l'histoire de l'empirisme.
