Présentation
Dr. François Chevalier, PhD, HDR, with a background in protein chemistry and molecular biology, received his doctoral degree in biochemistry in 2001 (INRA, Nantes, France), for the biochemical characterization of glycated proteins. He did a 5 years post-doctoral research positions in Montpellier (INRA, France) with a special focus on global analysis of proteins using two-dimensional electrophoresis and mass spectrometry. Following a research positions in Cork (UCC, Ireland) with a study of protein quality using proteomics tools, he is currently employed in CEA (DRF-IRAMIS-CIMAP in Caen) as team leader in radiation biology in the ARIA group (Applications in Radiobiology with Accelerated Ions).
Dr. François Chevalier is specialized in radiation-biology of radioresistant cancer models and bystander effects in a context of hadrontherapy.
He has published more than 70 scientific and technical papers in peer reviewed journals.
