Guillaume Attuel a obtenu son doctorat en physique à l'École polytechnique, travaillant sur les lacunes radicales de la fusion magnétique à cause de la turbulence dans les plasmas. Il reçoit ensuite une bourse pour initier un travail sur les arythmies au CND McGill, exploitant les techniques et concepts issus de la turbulence, avant de rejoindre l'ESPCI à Paris et l'institut Liryc de Bordeaux, en étroite collaboration avec des cardiologues. Il a été chargé de recherche post-doctorale quelques années encore à Inria pour poursuivre cet effort, dans l'équipe Geostat, où les idées issues de la physique s'hybrident aux idées issues des mathématiques appliquées, avec d'autres applications en astronomie, en collaboration avec le LAB. Il est aujourd'hui PDG et directeur scientifique de Bits2Beat.
Guillaume Attuel obtained his doctorate in physics at the École polytechnique, working on the radical shortcomings of magnetic fusion due to turbulence in plasmas. He then received a grant to initiate work on arrhythmias at CND McGill, using techniques and concepts derived from turbulence, before joining ESPCI in Paris and the Liryc Institute in Bordeaux, in close collaboration with cardiologists. He was in charge of post-doctoral research for a few more years at Inria to continue this effort, in the Geostat team, where ideas from physics are hybridized with ideas from applied mathematics, with other applications in astronomy, in collaboration with the LAB. He is now CEO and Scientific Director of Bits2Beat.
