Research interests in nutrition and gut physiology, in the area of gut-brain dialogue upon food transition*, i.e. the impact of perinatal nutritional environment on the gut-brain axis and microbiota colonisation, and long term consequences on gut-brain functioning and sensitivity to stress (programming).
