Présentation

University Professor. He holds a PhD in Audiovisual Communication and a degree in Theatre Studies and Dramaturgy. He is a lecturer at the Faculty of Fine Arts at the Polytechnic University of Valencia. He is the founder and director of the cultural magazines "Albur" (1987-1992) and "Credo" (1993-1994). A specialist in the work of José Lezama Lima, he directed and wrote the documentary "José Lezama Lima: Culture as Resistance" (2003). His other research interests include "The Dictionary of the Actor (Konstantin S. Stanislavski's System)", in three volumes (2009-2010); "The Secrets of Artistic Creation: The Orphic Structure" (2011); "The Lost Book of Aristotle" (2015); "The Naṭyaśāstra: The Technique of the Performing Arts" (2016); "Bhagavad Gītā: The World is Theatre" (2018); Translator of the "Naṭyaśāstra" (2019); "Papyrus Anastasi I. The Staging of Satire" (2020); "Ramesseum Dramatic Papyrus. The Founding Writing of the Scene" (2021); "Scenology of the Book of Dreams (Chester Beatty III Papyrus)" (2022); "The Triumph of Horus. A play from Acient Egypt" (2023); "The classical dances of India in the training of the actor" (2024).
