Présentation
En tant qu’anthropologue de l’environnement j’étudie les dynamiques spatiales et temporelles des socio-écosystèmes récifo-coralliens (SES-RC) de Polynésie Française (PF). J’envisage ces derniers comme des systèmes qui, en contribuant à fournir les bases matérielles et immatérielles de la vie en société, sont façonnés par les relations qu’entretiennent humains et entités biologiques vivantes au sein de territoires socialisés. À l’intersection des sciences sociales et des sciences du vivant, mes travaux combinent des approches qualitatives fondées sur une fine ethnographie des pratiques, stratégies et savoirs des utilisateurs primaires des ressources à des approches quantitatives s’appuyant sur des protocoles innovants de sciences participatives. Par le biais d’une démarche transdisciplinaire soucieuse d’agir sur la résilience des SES-RC, je m’intéresse aussi aux dynamiques économiques, sociales, identitaires et culturelles sous-jacentes à la mise en place de dispositifs de gestion des ressources et les manières par lesquelles ces derniers sont appropriés, remaniés ou contestés par la diversité d’acteurs investis dans leur gouvernance.
