
Lucas Riondet
Présentation
Lucas Riondet is a postdoc researcher at Grenoble Electrical Engineering Laboratory (G2Elab) and G-SCOP laboratory. He works, in the EECONE project, on electronic system sustainability assessments and the implementation of circular economy in Electronics.
His Phd was conducted between 2021 and 2024 at the G-SCOP Laboratory, part of the Product Process Design, called COSYS, team and at Institute of Arts et Metiers of Chambéry in the team Design and Mechanical Engineering. His subject was "Toward the eco-design of emerging technologies: How to integrate upscaling in life cycle assessment (LCA)?".
His research focuses on the definition and characterization of the concept of the "upscaling" and "emerging technology" in the design and engineering fields. The scientific objective of his research work is to integrate and operationalize environmental assessments methods (mainly LCA based) associated with the "upscaling" in the (eco-)design process of technology. This work is applied to the energy sector and mobilizes various LCA modes (*e.g. *prospective, consequential, dynamic, absolute).
