Présentation

Lucas Riondet is a 3rd-year Phd student at Grenoble Alps University G-SCOP Laboratory, part of the *Product Process Design*, called COSYS, team and at Institute of Arts et Metiers of Chambéry in the team *Design and Mechanical Engineering*. His Phd, entitled *"Toward the eco-design of emerging technologies for energy and the industry of the future : How to integrate upscaling in life cycle assessment (LCA)?"*, began in 2021. His research focuses on the definition and characterization of the concept of the "upscaling" and "emerging technology" in the design and engineering fields. The scientific objective of his research work is to integrate and operationalize the environmental assessments methods (mainly LCA based) associated with the "upscaling" in the design process of technology. This work is applied to the energy sector and mobilizes various LCA modes (*e.g. *prospective, consequential, dynamic, absolute).
