Biography Marc-Arthur DIAYE
University Professor, University Paris 1 Pantheon - Sorbonne, Sorbonne School of Economics He started his career in 1999 at the National Engineering School of Statistics and as a researcher at the Statistics and Modeling Laboratory. In 2001, he joined the University of Paris-Saclay-Evry as an Associate Professor in Econometrics. He stayed there for five years and left as a senior researcher at the Center for Employment Studies, where he stayed for four years. He then returned to the National Engineering School of Statistics as the Director of the Department of Economics. In the same year, he was appointed as a scientific advisor to the Office of the Prime Minister for Strategic Analysis, where he stayed for six years. In 2012, he became Director of the Economics Department of the University Paris-Saclay-Evry. In 2015, he created an MSc in Data Science at the same university. He has been appointed director of the Msc program in Econometrics and Statistics at the University Paris 1 Pantheon-Sorbonne since September 1, 2016. Marc-Arthur DIAYE works in the field of modeling and prediction of behavior from data. He is a member of the Academic Council of Paris 1 Pantheon-Sorbonne University.
