Présentation
My research is focused on the interaction between plants and associated microbes. I have worked for 18 years on the secretome of plant parasitic nematodes and their ability to invade plant tissues, hijack plant defenses and induce the differentiation of living plant cells into multinucleate feeding cells. I am now interested in the diversity of mechanisms used by filamentous fungi to colonize plant tissues, with a special emphasis on the plant cell wall degrading enzymes and secondary metabolites of wood decay fungi.
