Presentation
I am a Professor in Computer Science at Univ. Pierre et Marie Curie (aka Paris-6), and a member of the SMA team, as part of the DESIR department of LIP6. Before that, I was an Assistant Professor (Lecturer, MCF) in Computer Science at Univ. Paris-Dauphine, LAMSADE Lab; and even before that I spent a year as a postdoctoral Research Fellow at Imperial College and City University. I hold a PhD from Univ. Paul Sabatier (Toulouse) and an habilitation from Univ. Paris-Dauphine.
[Research topics] :: My main research interests are artificial intelligence and multiagent systems, and concern various aspects of collective (and often distributed) decision making. More precisely, the topics I currently investigate include: computational social choice (in particular distributed mechanisms for resource allocation); argumentation-based reasoning and interaction; explanation in the context of decision-aiding; agent communication languages, interaction protocols.
