Presentation

Dr. Pedro H. Albuquerque is a researcher at the Aix-Marseille School of Economics (AMSE) and cofounder of ACCELERATION & ADAPTATION. He holds a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Wisconsin – Madison and a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Brasília. He worked previously at the University of Minnesota Duluth, Texas A&M International University, the Central Bank of Brazil, the International Monetary Fund, and a digital technology startup. He published articles in a large number of scientific journals and was a presenter in many leading international conferences, in fields as varied as occupational science, engineering, economics, finance and social studies. His current areas of interest are: technological disruptions, cybernetics, occupational science, sustainability, and international finance.
Dr. Pedro H. Albuquerque est chercheur à l’Aix-Marseille Sciences Économiques (AMSE) et cofondateur d’ACCELERATION & ADAPTATION. Il est titulaire d'un doctorat en économie de l'Université du Wisconsin - Madison et d'un bachelor en génie électrique de l'Université de Brasília. Il a travaillé antérieurement à l'Université du Minnesota Duluth, à la Texas A&M International Université, à la Banque centrale du Brésil, au Fonds monétaire international et dans une startup de technologie numérique. Il a publié des articles dans un grand nombre de revues scientifiques et a participé à de nombreuses conférences internationales de premier plan, dans des domaines aussi variés que la science de l’occupation, l'ingénierie, l'économie, la finance et les études sociales. Ses sujets d’intérêt sont : les disruptions technologiques, la cybernétique, la science de l'occupation, la durabilité et la finance internationale.
