Présentation
I live in a seismically active country that lies on the Caribbean plate. Historically, Haiti has known destructive earthquakes. Just after my degree in Civil Engineering the country was devastated by the earthquake of January 12, 2010. Evolving in the geotechnical sector, I took the opportunity to do a master's degree in geosciences applied to geohazards. Thus, I'm going into the field of research in order to better understand the seismic hazard to bring my support in the work to reduce the seismic risk. This is why I am willing to work for a better mapping of the seismic hazard in Haiti in order to update the current seismic hazard map.
