
Valerie Renaudin
Présentation
Valérie Renaudin est professeur à l'Université Gustave Eiffel, France. Elle a obtenu une maîtrise en ingénierie géomatique en 1999 et un doctorat en informatique, communication et sciences de l'information à l'Ecole Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne en 2009. Son parcours comprend des rôles tels que directeur technique de Swissat en Suisse, où elle a été pionnière dans les solutions de positionnement en temps réel, et chercheur associé à l'Université de Calgary au Canada. En tant que responsable du Laboratoire de Géopositionnement (GEOLOC) à l'Université Gustave Eiffel, Valérie a construit une équipe d'experts spécialisés dans le positionnement et la navigation des modes dits de mobilité douce pour les voyageurs et les utilisateurs vulnérables. Ses recherches portent sur les méthodes de navigation ubiquitires, intégrant les données GNSS, inertielles et magnétiques pour améliorer la mobilité personnelle durable, en particulier celles des piétons. En 2021, elle a fondé nav4you, une société dédiée au développement de solutions de géolocalisation pour la sécurité des pompiers et service d’urgence. Valérie est également la rédactrice en cheffe, fondatrice de l'IEEE Journal of Indoor and Seamless Positioning and Navigation (J-ISPIN) et membre du comité de pilotage de la conférence internationale Indoor Positioning Indoor Navigation (IPIN), soulignant ainsi son engagement à façonner l'avenir de la géomatique et de la navigation à l'échelle mondiale.
