Bertrand Vilquin

Présentation
Professeur des universités en physique de la matière condensée Bertrand Vilquin (Professeur, INSA Lyon) travaille sur l’intégration d'oxydes fonctionnels depuis le début de sa thèse en 1999 à l’Université de Caen (France). En 2002, il a rejoint l’Institut de recherche scientifique et industrielle de l’Université d’Osaka (Japon) pour un post-doctorat financé par la JSPS. En 2005, il a intégré l’Université Paris XI pour travailler sur un projet industriel avec ALTIS Semiconductors visant à réaliser une nouvelle génération de dispositifs MRAM à l’échelle nanométrique. En 2006, il est devenu maître de conférences à l’École Centrale de Lyon, menant des travaux sur l’intégration de matériaux oxydes (pérovskite, fluorite, etc.) sur silicium à travers des projets académiques et industriels. En 2025, il a été promu professeur des universités à l’INSA Lyon. Il possède une riche expérience dans des projets de recherche nationaux et internationaux et a été coordinateur de 3 projets ANR. Il a été professeur invité à l’Université d’Osaka (Japon) en 2012 et à l’Université de Tokyo (Japon) en 2016. Il est devenu professeur associé à l’Université de Sherbrooke (Canada) en 2016. Entre 2016 et 2024, il a coordonné le master « Nanoscale Engineering » de l’Université de Lyon. Il a obtenu son habilitation à diriger des recherches (HDR) en 2018 et est membre de l’IEEE et de la Société Française de Physique.
