Présentation
Phylogenetic relationships and evolution of Collembola and basal hexapods (Protura, Diplura, Archaeognatha and Zygentoma) and their position within arthropods with special interest in combining molecular and morphological data sets (total evidence) with large taxonomic samples and large number loci (Comparative Genomics) in a parallel computing and dynamic homology context. Systematics and Phylogenetics of Collembola with special interest in the Order Poduromorpha. Using the obtained phylogenetic framework to test evolutionary hypotheses such as ecological specialisation and the aquatic-terrestrial transitions. In this line of work, using as well the barcode framework (along with complementary loci such as 28s d1 to d5 regions) and tools to study gondwanian biogeography and species delimitation.
Genomics, and Collembola-Wolbachia relationships, specially induced parthenogenesis.
