Présentation
Sustainability challenges require deep transformations, which cannot be only technical but also have to involve a profound evolution of paradigms and worldviews. To foster transformations in the livestock sector, I am developing innovative transdisciplinary approaches, combining natural and social sciences, together with stakeholders’ knowledge outside the academia. I have worked in a diversity of environments in both developed and developing countries, at different scales (local to global). Methodologies used include participatory approaches, livestock farming systems conceptual and computer modelling, field trials, farm surveys and lately collaborations with artists and an exploration of quantum theory for sustainability transformations.
