La rétine est un tissu très riche en lipides qui exercent des rôles divers dont l'importance pour son bon fonctionnement est de plus en plus reconnue. L’équipe Œil & Nutrition s'attache à mieux comprendre le rôle des lipides dans la physiologie de la rétine et ses dysfonctions ainsi qu'à agir sur leur biodisponibilité de façon à prévenir le développement de pathologies. Au sein de cette équipe, j’étudie le métabolisme du cholestérol rétinien, son homéostasie et son importance pour l’intégrité de la rétine. Je m’intéresse en particulier aux interactions neurones-glie et à leurs perturbations dans le cadre du glaucome.
Pour cela, je mets en œuvre des approches variées: cellules en culture, modèles de rongeurs, sujets humains.ACTIVITES TRANSVERSALES
