Présentation
My research focuses on reconstructing the ecology of living and Pleistocene ungulates through different and complementary ecological proxies, including Dental Microwear Texture Analyses (DMTA), isotopic analyses, mesowear, mandibular morphology...
My objectives are:
(1) to reconstruct the paleoecology and paleoenvironments from fossil ungulate osteo-dental material found in archaeological and paleontological sites and understand local human adaptations as an answer to climatic oscillations.
(2) Based on the study of ecological responses of fossil ungulates to past climate changes, to provide new insights on current climate changes and their impact on today's biodiversity (Conservation Palaeobiology).
