Fanny Mallard
Présentation
I am a Scientific Director at the National Society for the Protection of Nature (SNPN), where I have been leading the scientific strategy and the research-action division since 2022. I have a PhD in Ecology and over 12 years of experience in studying and managing the impacts of global changes on biodiversity and nature conservation actions.
My core competencies include scientific leadership, project management, partnership development, and communication. I design and implement R&D projects that anticipate and address the challenges of wetland watercourse and forest restoration in France, using advanced methods and tools such as species distribution modeling, remote sensing, and data analysis.
I also collaborate with various stakeholders, such as scientists, naturalists, policymakers, and the general public, to foster knowledge sharing, awareness, and action for the preservation of natural heritage. My mission is to contribute to the understanding and protection of biodiversity and ecosystems in a changing world.
