Présentation
I am a physicsict and an associate professor at Université Paris Saclay. My research is about instrumentation and methods for preclinical and clinical imaging. During my Ph-D at Institut de Physique Nucléaire in Orsay (France) and in the following years (1998-2006), I have been developping instruments based on the detection of radiolabled tracers, including a miniaturized beta probe for in situ measurement of pharmacokinetics of molecules labeled with beta-emitters such as 18F-FDG or 11C-Raclopride. This preclinical device was also applied to the direct measurement of radiotracer input function (an important parameter for compartmental modelling of tracer uptake) without blood sampling. In 2006, I moved to optical imaging for functional imaging of the rat and mice brain and more precisely to the study the neurovascular coupling. In close collaboration with neurophysiologists, I have developped several imaging set-ups including intrinsic optical imaging (oxymetry mapping), autofluorescence imaging (mitochondrial activity mapping) and laser speckle imaging ( microvascularization and blood flow mapping). I currently develop new methodological approaches for multiple exposure laser speckle imaging for preclinical (mice obesity models) and clinical (skin microcirculation imaging) applications. Additionnaly ,I have had a continuous interest for modeling and Monte Carlo simulations in the context of biomedical imaging.
