Paul Bouet is associate professor at ENSA Paris-Est and researcher at OCS-AUSser. He holds a master's degree in architecture and an HMONP from ENSA Paris-Belleville, a master's degree in the history of science and technology from EHESS, and a PhD in architecture from Université Gustave Eiffel. His research focuses on the environmental history of architecture. He is particularly interested in the history of solar energy, the emergence of ecologism in architecture and the links between colonization and climate adaptation. Before joining ENSA Paris-Est, he was doctoral student in residence at the Canadian Center for Architecture and postdoctoral fellow at ETH Zurich. Paul Bouet est maître de conférences à l’ENSA Paris-Est et chercheur à l’OCS-AUSser. Il est titulaire d’un master en architecture et d’une HMONP de l’ENSA Paris-Belleville, d’un master en histoire des sciences et des techniques de l’EHESS, et d’un doctorat en architecture de l’Université Gustave Eiffel. Ses recherches portent sur l’histoire environnementale de l’architecture. Il s’intéresse en particulier à l’histoire de l’énergie solaire, à l’émergence de l’écologisme en architecture et aux liens entre colonisation et adaptation au climat.
