Présentation
Geopolitics scholar, European Union consultant and political strategist. AsiaGlobal Fellow, the University of Hong Kong (2020-2022). He has served his country (Spain) as Member of Parliament and City Councilman from 2007 to 2020.
Sebastian is a former politician and lawyer, and currently a professional scholar, pursuing formation which will contribute to the development of the Asia - EU relationship and its impact on the rest of the world.
After developing a fruitful profession in the private sector, he switched to the public service, being elected councilman for three consecutive terms. In 2019, he became a Member of Parliament (Aragonese Corts).
He resigned voluntarily in November 2020 after being granted a position at the University of Hong Kong leadership program as an AsiaGlobal Fellow (2020-2022), leaded by the Asia Global Institute think tank. In addition to this involvement, since 2021 Sebastian has actively joined geopolitical think tanks and advised key stakeholders.
Sebastian, as a bachelor in law, also holds two master’s degrees, one in commercial law and another in EU law and institutions from the College of Europe (Belgium). He is also an alumnus of the IESE Business School’s leadership program for public management, and he is fluent in Spanish, English, French, and Italian.
