Présentation
I study French-Chinese sister city (SC) phenomena in the French Occitanie region. Since 2020, my thesis goal is to compare two regions using the case study methodology in two places. In the first place, I focus on rural areas that are linked by the SC relationship such as Guizhou Province and the department of Lozère (2001). In second place, I analyse SC relationships in urban and metropolitan locations such as Montpellier and Toulouse twinned with Chengdu (1981) and Chongqing (1982).
