**Yi-Ping Fang** is an associate professor at the [Industrial Engineering Laboratory](http://www.lgi.centralesupelec.fr/en/node/388), [CentraleSupélec](https://www.centralesupelec.fr/), [Université Paris-Saclay](https://www.universite-paris-saclay.fr/en), France. He is also a member of the industrial [Chair Risk and Resilience of Complex Systems](https://rrcs.centralesupelec.fr/en) sponsored by big French companies including EDF, SNCF, and Orange.
**Research Interests**
**Theory:** reliability theory, stochastic modeling, stochastic and robust optimization, machine learning, and complex network theory.
**Application:** risk, reliability, and resilience assessment and optimization of cyber-physical systems (particularly smart grids and intelligent transportation systems).

**Yi-Ping FANG** est professeur assistant au laboratoire génie industriel de CentraleSupélec à l'Université Paris-Saclay, en France. Il est également membre de la chaire industrielle Risques et résilience des systèmes complexes parrainée par de grandes entreprises françaises telles qu’EDF, SNCF, et Orange.
**Recherche d'intérêts**
**Théorie:** théorie de la fiabilité, modèles stochastiques, quantification de l'incertitude, optimisation stochastique et robuste, apprentissage automatique, et théorie des réseaux complexes
**Application:** évaluation et optimisation des risques, de la fiabilité et de la résilience des systèmes cyber-physiques (en particulier des réseaux intelligents et des systèmes de transport intelligents)
