Presentation
Ingénieur, titulaire d’un *Master of Sciences* de l’Ecole Centrale de Nantes (2003), et d’un doctorat de l’Université de Kassel en Allemagne (2016). Il a été successivement chercheur au CEA (laboratoire GENEC à l’origine de l’INES), à l’ISET (Kassel, Allemagne), au Fraunhofer IWES (Kassel, Allemagne) et depuis Février 2017 à Mines ParisTech. Lors de ces expériences successives, Yves-Marie Saint-Drenan a conduit de nombreux projets faisant le lien entre la météorologie, les énergies renouvelables et leur intégration au réseau. Il contribue aux activités de recherche sur la météorologie pour l’énergie du laboratoire OIE par ces activités sur la modélisation, la caractérisation et la prévision des productibles EnR. Il est notamment co-organisateur de la session Energy Meteorology de la conférence annuelle de l’EMS (European Meteorology Society).

He obtained a Ph.D. degree in 2016 at University of Kassel (Germany) on the modeling of regional PV power generation from meteorological data. He was successively researcher at CEA (GENEC laboratory at the origin of INES), at ISET (Kassel, Germany), at Fraunhofer IWES (Kassel, Germany) and since February 2017 at Mines ParisTech. Yves-Marie Saint-Drenan has led numerous projects linking meteorology, renewable energies and their integration into the network. It contributes to the research activities on meteorology for the energy of the OIE laboratory by these activities on modeling, characterization and forecasting of renewable energy. He is co-organizer of the Energy Meteorology session of the annual conference of the EMS (European Meteorology Society).</span>
