**Christophe Guignabert, PhD, ATSF, FERS,** is a Research Director (DR2 ) - Full Professor of Molecular Biology & Physiology - at the french Institute of Health and Medical Research (INSERM), where he works at the University Paris Saclay school of medicine. He is an accomplished expert in the molecular mechanisms underlying Pulmonary Hypertension, with a strong track record of innovative research in the field. Dr. Guignabert obtained his Ph.D. in Cell Biology and Cardiovascular Research from the University Paris-Est Créteil (UPEC) in France, where he investigated extracellular remodeling and its role in epithelial alveolar repair. He then completed a postdoctoral fellowship at Stanford University, where he focused on vascular remodeling. Currently, Dr. Guignabert leads a dynamic research team **Endothelial dysfunction and therapeutic innovation in Pulmonary Hypertension** at UMR_S 999. Their research is aimed at uncovering the molecular and cellular mechanisms driving vascular remodeling in Pulmonary Hypertension, with the ultimate goal of identifying new therapeutic targets to improve patient outcomes. Dr. Guignabert's research specifically focuses on how dysfunction in the BMP/TGF-β superfamily modulates the phenotypic heterogeneity of the pulmonary endothelium, and how pulmonary endothelial cells interact with their environment.
